Laser Safety Disclaimer
Last updated: [June 15, 2026]
Laserabc products emit laser radiation that can cause serious, permanent eye or skin injury. Please read this disclaimer together with the product's user manual, our Warranty Policy, and our Terms of Use. This disclaimer does not reduce any statutory consumer or safety rights you have under applicable law.

General Safety Warning
Laserabc products contain laser-emitting devices. Depending on the laser class, even brief or accidental exposure to the beam — directly or via reflection — can cause permanent eye damage. Always:
-
Never look directly into the beam or the laser aperture, and never view the beam through binoculars, telescopes, camera viewfinders, or other optical instruments, which magnify the hazard;
-
Never aim or allow the beam to travel toward people, animals, or any area where people may be present.
Never point or direct the laser at:
-
People or animals;
-
Aircraft (illuminating an aircraft is a serious criminal offense in many countries, including a federal felony in the United States), or vehicles, trains, or watercraft;
-
Mirrors, glass, polished metal, or other reflective surfaces, which can redirect the beam unpredictably;
-
Public spaces, crowded areas, roads, or windows.
-
Laser Classification and Specifications
-
Laser class (IEC 60825-1): Class [INSERT CLASS, e.g., 3B / 4]
-
Maximum output power: [A1-2/A1-B2 : 2W, A1-B5: 5W]
-
Wavelength(s): [INSERT nm]
Higher-class lasers (such as Class 3B and Class 4) present an immediate hazard to eyes and skin and a fire risk, and require trained operators and protective measures. Refer to the product label and user manual for the exact specifications of your device.
-
Intended Use
Laserabc products are intended only for entertainment, stage, DJ, or professional visual-display use by competent operators. They are not toys, are not intended for children or for general consumer "pointer" use, and in some regions may only be sold to or operated by professionals or adults (18+). Any use outside the intended purpose may be dangerous and is prohibited.
-
User Responsibility
You are responsible for the safe handling and lawful operation of Laserabc products, including:
-
Reading and following all instructions in the user manual;
-
Complying with local laser-safety laws, performance and venue rules, and import regulations;
-
Wearing eye protection appropriate to the laser class where required;
-
Aiming and terminating the beam safely, away from people and unintended targets;
-
Ensuring operators are trained and competent for the device's laser class;
-
Keeping the device away from children and untrained persons, and secured when not in use.
-
Compliance and Certification
Responsibility is shared and should not be confused:
-
Our responsibility (manufacturer / seller): to classify, certify, and label the product as required by applicable law (for example, U.S. FDA requirements under 21 CFR Part 1040 and the IEC 60825 series).
-
Your responsibility (operator): to operate the product lawfully and to obtain any approvals your use requires. In particular, laser light shows using higher-class lasers are subject to additional regulation — in the United States, for example, this can include an FDA variance for the projector and approvals for the show or venue. You are responsible for confirming and obtaining the permits required for your event, venue, and jurisdiction before use.
-
Risks of Improper Use
Improper or unsafe use may cause:
-
Permanent eye or skin injury;
-
Fire, property damage, or accidents;
-
Legal liability, fines, or penalties;
-
Equipment malfunction or permanent damage to the device.
-
If Exposure Occurs
If you or anyone else experiences eye or skin exposure to the beam, stop using the device immediately and seek medical attention without delay, even if there is no obvious symptom. Then contact Laserabc Support.
-
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Laserabc is not responsible for injury, accident, property damage, loss, or legal claims that arise from:
-
Misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions or the user manual;
-
Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or use of incompatible parts;
-
Use in prohibited locations, public areas, or restricted environments, or in breach of intended use (Section 3);
-
Operation that does not comply with applicable laws, regulations, or required permits.
You assume the risks associated with operating the product where it is used outside its instructions or intended purpose.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for defective products under applicable product liability law, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Our overall warranty and liability terms are set out in our Warranty Policy and Terms of Use; this disclaimer does not replace them or reduce your statutory rights.
-
Acknowledgment
By purchasing or using Laserabc products, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Laser Safety Disclaimer and agree to operate the product safely and lawfully. For laser products, we may ask you to confirm this acknowledgment at the time of purchase. Failure to follow these safety requirements may result in injury, legal consequences, and loss of warranty coverage for any damage caused by such failure (this does not affect your statutory rights in respect of an unrelated product defect).
